Go from zero to accepting payments — a step-by-step checklist

Getting Started

This checklist walks you through every step to set up TagadaPay and accept your first payment. Complete each step in order — most merchants are live in under 10 minutes.

1. Create your account

   Sign up at app.tagadapay.com. This is your dashboard where you manage stores, products, payments, and analytics.

   Use the sandbox at app.tagadapay.dev to test everything without real charges first.

2. Connect your store and sync products

   Connect your Shopify or WooCommerce store so products sync automatically into TagadaPay.

   • Connect TagadaPay to your Shopify store
   • Connect your Shopify store to your TagadaPay account
   • Sync products from your store

   No store? You can create products directly in the dashboard and use Direct Links to send customers to checkout from any website, email, or ad.

3. Configure your products

   Once your products are synced, fine-tune pricing, shipping, and taxes:

   • Set up recurring products (subscriptions)
   • Lock the price of a product variant
   • Customize shipping rates
   • Add taxes
4. Connect a payment processor

   A payment processor is what charges your customers. Connect at least one:

   Stripe

   Most popular

   NMI

   NMI gateway

   All processors

   View all options

   Just testing? Use the Sandbox Processor to simulate payments with no real money.

5. Create a payment flow

   A payment flow defines how transactions are routed through your processors. Even with a single processor, you need one.

6. Deploy your checkout and go live

   Deploy your checkout from the dashboard. You can preview it first to make sure everything looks right.
